The entrance examination for the 1st year of a Master’s degree is open to students holding a baccalaureate certificate. Application for direct admission to 2nd, 3rd or 4th year is proposed to candidates under 35 years of age, holding a degree and who can demonstrate their knowledge in the field of conservation-restoration.

The competitive exam for admission to 1st year includes 3 admission tests - a test analysis and illustration commentary, a science test and a test in academic drawing (compulsory for the painting specialty) or a technical one - for students eligible there are three admission tests - a test in manual dexterity and colour, a written and oral test.
The competitive exam for admission to 2nd, 3rd or 4th year includes an admissibility test first where the candidate’s application is examined and after, for successful candidates, two admission tests - a test in manual dexterity and colour and an interview with the jury.
