The Inp integrates the international dimension into its training programmes.

Students in curating and restoring disciplines travel overseas for their internships at flagship institutions related to their specialties. They discover other working methods and conceptions regarding cultural heritage. Thus do they launch their broad professional network. Every year, thanks to scholarships of the Carnot foundation (Fondation Carnot), several curators and restorers having graduated at the Inp can accomplish a work of research in a foreign country.

The Inp also welcomes foreign professionals of cultural heritage who integrate promotions of students belonging to curating and restoring disciplines.

Since 2003, the Inp regularly collaborates with the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti (IVSLA) through the organization of professional seminars in Venice destined to curator students and through an international conference in Venice or in Paris on the protection and the enhancement of cultural heritage in Europe.

The Inp international in-training program is organised around lasting partnerships, in Europe, Asia and Africa.

For the forthcoming years, the Inp is contributing to the development of considerable projects amongst which the Mediterranean Union, the restoration of the cultural heritage of the Abruzzi, the Louvre in Abu Dabi (AE) and the renovation of the Syrian museum network.
