Every year, between October and June, the Inp offers high level cultural events and debates to a large audience. These mainly take place at the auditorium of the Galerie Colbert (200 seats) located in the building of its head office on rue Vivienne.

The cycle Trésors du patrimoine écrit presents a serie of conferences in which every one of them showcases an essential document taken out of the National library of France and of the National Archives. Each conference is summarized through an interview with curators, historians of art, text specialists and restorers and is later broadcasted on both the Inp and Connaissance des Arts (partner of the program) websites.

The cycle entitled Rencontres européennes du patrimoine is a series of conferences organised in a partnership with the general management of cultural heritage of the French ministry of culture and communication. Every aspect studied within this cycle is done with the most prominent international specialists.
