Preparatory course
| In 2010, the Inp opened a prep class (CPI) integrated to the external exams for cultural heritage curating. The creation of such a prep class, the first in its cultural sector, lies within its framework to favour the access to positions with responsibility in public services to everybody, bearing in mind equality of chances and diversity. This was possible thanks to the partnership of the Foundation of Culture and Diversity (Fondation Culture & Diversité), the School of the Louvre (École du Louvre), the Grande École for Archivists (l’École nationale des chartes) and the National Agency for Social Cohesion and Equality of Chances (l'Agence nationale pour la cohésion sociale et l'égalité des chances). The Acsé
Created by the law of the 31st of March 2006 concerning equality of chances and administratively supervised by the minister of the city, the Acsé (Agence nationale pour la cohésion sociale et l'égalité des chances - The national agency for social cohesion and equality of chances) contributes to actions in favour of people encountering difficulties in social or professional integration.
With the Fondation Culture & Diversité, the Acsé brings its support to the preparatory class integrated in the external competitive examinations of curators of the cultural heritage at the Inp.
The Fondation Culture & Diversité
Created and presided by Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, the Fondation Culture & Diversité is commissioned to enable youths from underpriviledged background to improve their access to culture. Therefore, the Fondation brings significant support in the organisation of the preparatory class linked to external competitive examinations organised by the Inp in partnership with the Ecole du Louvre, the Ecole nationale des chartes and also with the support of the national Agency for social cohesion and equality of chances (Acsé - Agence pour la cohésion sociale et l'égalité des chances).
Thanks to the Fondation, a first intake of eleven students was admitted as early as the 23rd of August 2010 so as to prepare the 2011 external competitive examinations of curators of the cultural heritage.
