CHANGE Project : Cultural Heritage Analysis for New Generations
The aim of this CHANGE project is to develop methodologies dedicated to the evaluation of the surface change in heritage objects.
The National Heritage Institute is a partner of the European project CHANGE (2019-2022), coordinated by the Colorimetry and Imaging Laboratory (Colourlab) of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Gjøvik, Norway. The CHANGE project funds 15 European PhDs with the aim of developing methodologies dedicated to the evaluation of surface changes in heritage objects. In 2018, this project received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme within the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Grant Agreement. The subject of the PhDs, in the field of metrology and advanced non-invasive imaging, will focus on the development of innovative techniques and new tools for measuring, interpreting, managing and exploiting data. Oriented towards the development of a technology and/or protocol, the fields of study may also be more specifically related to a material, a manufacturing technique or type of objects. Thus research will be conducted in the fields of painting, photography (daguerreotypes), polychromy, glass and ancient metals. Inp is involved in ESR7 dedicated to research in the domain of 3D micro-digitizing and its application in the field of restoration. Angele Dequier is co-supervising a thesis by the consortium. |
